It’s a passage of AGE moreso than time.
And yes age goes along with time, but being older as in the number of years you have comes with sweet benefits. Especially since I am becoming 18.

Maybe the reason I couldn’t care less for New Years is because my birthday is in 3 days.

On New Years Eve I am never really excited for the upcoming year, mainly because it’s not like one year ending and another beginning is going to bring any significant difference in my life. It’s just the procession of one day into the next for me.
